This old woman we found roadside in my hometown. Few facts that she shared with us are – Her name is Sushila Tiwari who has been abandoned by her family. Her maternal house is Gonda and she was married in Lucknow / Allahbad (we don’t have clarity). She has two sons – Alok and Anoop, both married.
She has been crying and asking to bring her son Alok to her. We are not able to find her sons / family members. Her health is degrading day by day. When we first met her she was a bit healthy but now she can’t even walk. We have been helping her with all we can but she definitely needs more than that considering her condition.
Let us help her together. Circulate this post so it may reach her family who might be searching for her. If not then would be great if people can volunteer for medical help and shelter.
